Youth in the Bible
Our Heavenly Father will always be there for us when we look for him, he will answer our concerns, remove fears, he will lend us a hand.
Many times, when we are young we fail to understand certain things about the power of God, at times we can feel distressed, and we let ourselves be carried away by the actions of other people our age.
We believe that there will be time later to reconnect with God, when we are older or when we get married and have children. But, there we are wrong, because we can go hand in hand with our Lord in all our way.
We can go to school, to university, have friends, feel young, it is something normal and of course it is allowed. The Bible shows us that there were young people who sought the word of God from a very young age, and God was always there to help them.
Meet some young people in the Bible
samuel the prophet
The Bible mentions that Samuel was just a child when he sought God in the temple and prayed to him. His mother asked the Lord every day that she would allow her to have a son, and as a condition, her son would serve God from a young age.
That was how God listened to her and blessed her with a beautiful baby. And in this way, Samuel learned from God and served him from a young age, he sang to him and prayed to him with great passion.
God saw in him a just and noble heart, so he always spoke to him, turning him into the prophet Samuel and taking him under his protective mantle until his last days.
Joseph: a young nobleman
Jacob managed to father Joseph during his old age, and this touched him very much, he loved Joseph too much, and when he grew up and became a teenager, he made a special tunic for him, so his brothers found out that it was only made for Joseph, they were upset and envious.
For this reason, they devised a very evil plan and sold him to merchants to take him as a slave in Egypt, when all this happened Joseph was only 17 years old. It is a sad story, but it does not end here.
José remained firm at all times respecting the commandments of God, and was upright in his walk and behavior. God took pity on him and granted him prosperity, so much so that he came to be at the side of Pharaoh, eventually becoming the leader of Egypt. Until God allowed him to reunite with his father and his brothers, who apologized for everything that had happened.
Ruth loved God
She married very young and became a widow in a short time, the Bible mentions that she learned from the God of Israel and came to believe and respect his word.
When she became a widow, without thinking twice, she went to live with her mother-in-law, who motivated her to learn about God, and she was so interested that she decided to accept him in her life.
She told Naomi, her mother-in-law, that she would accept her people and their God as her own and would love and respect them equally. When Ruth remarried, she unknowingly became the great-grandmother of David, the king.
This story shows us that God works mightily in us and rewards us, just as is reflected in other stories of women in the Bible.
David: a fair young man
David's life is without a doubt another great example of young people in the Bible. His story is fascinating, and we can start when he was a little boy taking care of his family's sheep.
When God told the prophet Samuel to anoint Israel's next king, he thought he would be a big, strong boy. But he was wrong. God told Samuel that he had chosen as the future king, a young man, who was not strong or tall, just a young man with a righteous heart.
David, despite being just a little boy, was brave and fair. This caused God to notice him. That is why God loves us, regardless of appearance, He only looks at our hearts and actions.

the apostle john
In the Bible it is mentioned that John was a 17-year-old boy when he began to believe in Jesus, and he liked the word of God. He always listened to the preaching of the elders and respected the teachings.
Jesus always had time for him, and when he grew up he was a great preacher of the word and even pastor of a church. God provides for those who love him and this is a clear example, regardless of age.
God loves us just like the young people in the Bible
There are many more young people in the Bible , but we only mention a few, to let you know that God does not discriminate based on age or appearance.
He simply wants us to love Him now, to pray without expecting anything in return. We can begin by giving thanks for our day and what we have. Then we can seek Him in the Bible, where we will find much about Him. This is essential, as there are many biblical passages that can inspire us.
Seeking God is a wonderful experience and a privilege. Because we will always have someone to turn to, someone to love, and best of all, they will always be there to support us and respond to us.
Living in God is something special, therefore, even if we are young, we can love him the same, he will always be attentive to our prayer.
