How to watch movies online for free [GUIDE 2021]

Is it possible to watch movies online for free without downloading, registering, or going crazy searching for websites? How is it possible to enjoy good movies for free on the internet legally? The key to watching free movies online is knowing which websites are trustworthy and which aren't. We're talking about 100% legal methods—we're talking about Spanish public services where you can watch feature films for free, services that most people don't know about! Enough already! And we're also talking about other services of more dubious legality (including YouTube!) that exist thanks to certain tricks, which we'll explain below. Choose the method that interests you most from this summary guide.

? Free online movies 2021 in Spanish to watch in the Spanish library network

Don't go yet. This is serious. What if we told you it 's possible to watch movies online for free, without registration and without interruptions, like Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, or Easy Rider , legally? Would you think we were crazy? It was Salvador Dalí who said, "My madness is sacred, please don't touch it."

There's an online movie platform called eFilm . They describe themselves as a streaming audiovisual lending service for library users where you can watch movies for free. Indeed, you just need your public library card to access thousands of movies, series, short films, and more for free and legally . They work like Pordede, Megadede, or verpelisonline.tv. And it's 100% legal thanks to an agreement that platforms like Netflix, HBO, or Amazon Prime Video probably don't want us to know about.

How to watch free movies without registration with EFILM

1. We enter our access data for our public library in the EBiblio network of libraries in Spain.
2. Once inside EBiblio, we access the movies section and we will be redirected to the EFilm platform (not available in all Autonomous Communities, keep reading to find out if your autonomous community is on the list of those chosen).
3. We choose a movie from the free online cinema catalog and press play. No ads, no pop-ups and no downloads.

They are not all that are, but they are all that are. Among the autonomous communities whose libraries have a catalog of free online movies are those of the CAM, Catalonia and the Basque Country.

The best free online movie websites without registration

All these websites to watch full movies without registering have constant (and logical) legal problems. For this reason, they are always changing domains: .com, .net, .tv, .online, .biz, .is, .es, etc. Just Google your most recent domain and cross your fingers.

? Free movies in Spanish: Free Spanish cinema on the RTVE website

Once again, it's a resource provided by the public administration that's generally ignored. Nor are they exactly doing much to promote it: it's easy to watch films by Almodóvar, Amenábar, Trueba, and other great Spanish directors online for free , as they appear and disappear from this website periodically. And without registering.

The problem? The content is buried deep within the official TVE website. It seems they don't want us to find all these great free online movies. The Spanish Radio and Television (RTVE) website has a multimedia archive of free online videos, series, and movies that's a veritable goldmine . And, as with any goldmine, you never know what you'll find, since TVE is constantly adding and removing content. We do know for sure about certain films in their " Nuestro Cine" (Our Cinema) section dedicated to Spanish cinema . Here's a list.

? Watch movies online for free without downloading 2021 on Youtube

Seriously, for you to believe us, here is a list of 100 free Spanish movies uploaded on YouTube.

Let's start with the basics: want to watch recent movies online for free without downloading any software? In that case, and as strange as it may sound, YouTube is the website to go to. Did you know it's possible to watch Parasite online for free on the famous video portal? As we write this article, Joker, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Jojo Rabbit, and a very long list of other films, including The Godfather (broken into a playlist of 7-minute clips) , are available to watch online. So, anyone who wants to watch movies online without paying should be well aware that the experience is going to leave much to be desired.

People don't realize it, but YouTube is full of full-length movies uploaded by film fans . Needless to say, watching them online won't be the same as seeing the film in a theater, the medium for which it was originally intended. It won't even be like watching it on DVD or in HD. The users who upload these movies online for free don't receive any money for it. They do it for the love of it. A strange kind of love, though.

Let's take the case of Parasite, for example. Anyone wanting to watch Bong Joon-ho's film on YouTube has to do so by viewing a moving frame to bypass the block. While it might sound like a joke, Parasite has accumulated over 100.000 views online in less than a month.

Instructions to watch movies online for free on Youtube

• Option 1: If you don't have a title in mind, simply enter keywords like “full movie” or “full movie” in the search engine. For best results, you can sort search results by number of views or date (to see the most recent releases).
• Option 2: If you have a name in mind, try entering the title of the movie in the search engine and cross your fingers. Seriously, it's even Joker available to view online. Of course, the quality of the resolution leaves much to be desired.

? Pages to watch movies online for free without downloads

We all know them. Some of these online movie sites have even become famous. The problem is that sooner or later they disappear. Or they're replaced by websites with similar names, sometimes simply adding a number to the title. These websites should be a last resort. Before we talk about sites with new movie releases, let's take a look at a few websites with movies in Spanish:

Legal pages with movies

Internet Archive

Interesting collection of classic films without rights.

Latin Retina

This platform has South American films and, especially, good Colombian cinema. Registration is required to access hundreds of feature films, documentaries and shorts from all over Latin America.

Open Culture

Archive of artistic and cultural content. In their movie section they have a good selection of royalty-free classic movies, including Quentin Tarantino movies.

RTVC Play

This is Colombia's public media system. It includes podcasts, documentaries, and classic series such as Dejémonos de vainas, Romeo y Buseta, and Los pecados de Inés de Hinojosa.

legally free

From great classic works of fiction to documentaries of all kinds. It is not necessary to register to access their catalog.

The best websites to watch movies online for free

They're riddled with advertising and lies. Many even force you to download programs that leave your computer full of junk. Too often, you end up getting lost in the endless tangle of pop-ups, misleading ads, and download requests. Not recommended. If you're still willing to take the risk, these are the main ones. Since they're constantly changing their names, we've chosen not to link to them:

• RePelis-go
• Movies-Free
• Movies24
• Pelispedia
• RexPelis
• movieonlinehd
• verpelisonline
• movies24
• aquipelis
• verpelistoday
• Moviesplus

Needless to say, the movie-watching experience here isn't ideal: pixelated, tons of ads, and viruses. But hey, if you're up for the challenge, who are we to clip your wings?

? Free movies with Popcorn Time (although not for long)

Due to the spread of COVID-19, the best program for watching movies online is back. It could disappear at any moment. It's too good to be true. We give you all the details in this special article dedicated to Popcorn Time.

Watching movies online for free has never been easier. Just download a program: Popcorn Time. Of dubious legality, Popcorn Time is the most popular software for watching movies and TV series for free on your computer . A kind of pirate Netflix that has returned due to the spread of the Coronavirus to offer the possibility of watching series and movies online for free. Parasite , 1917, Sonic, Star Wars 9, The Avengers, Frozen II… seriously, they're all there. It's ridiculous. Whether it's legal is another story.

Popcorn Time: the return of the best program to watch movies online for free

Popcorn Time was, about six or seven years ago, the most popular tool for watching movies online for free. Even before Netflix existed in Spain, this website caused a sensation and was soon targeted by the law. The instructions for watching its content online ( Jojo Rabbit , Harley Quinn, Toy Story 4…) are quite simple:

• Access the Popcorn Time program website
• download software
• Activate a VPN (recommended, but not required)
• Choose from its (so ridiculous that it can't be legal) catalog of free movies and series in HD
• heat popcorn
• View

Problems: It's not legal, it's not as easy as Netflix, and it's based on torrents

Popcorn Time is so good it can't be legal. As expected, it has certain flaws.

Legality

It goes without saying that the creators of the content reject the existence of Popcorn Time, a software that takes advantage of legal loopholes or, directly, of Internet camouflage.

Subtitles

Unfortunately, it has some flaws. The subtitles sometimes don't work as well as one might hope (alternative closed caption versions can be found and downloaded ).

confusing titles

For certain titles, you need to enter the English title. For example, anyone wanting to watch The Endless Trench online for free should enter "The Endless Trench" in the program's search bar.

Torrents

Since it's a program based on downloading and playing torrents , you need to be a little more patient after clicking. Playback isn't as fast and instantaneous as with Netflix and similar platforms.

Watching movies online for free is easier than ever thanks to Popcorn Time.

Netflix's number 1 enemy for free movies

Popcorn Time, the number one enemy of Netflix, Movistar+, HBO, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video, has been resurrected with a new version of its famous show. And it has done so right in the middle of the global crisis caused by the spread of COVID-19 . It doesn't seem like a coincidence. And if we call it the number one enemy of these streaming platforms , it's because Popcorn Time even includes content from them: Game of Thrones, The Mandalorian, Money Heist, The Witcher …

We take this opportunity to recommend this one to you. We have no doubt that, sooner rather than later, Popcorn Time will disappear.

It's too good to be true.
