Teachings of Jesus
The teachings of Jesus is to carry it in the heart so that it can make the transformations that it wants for our lives and see its character reflected in us; They are actions that happen and you don't realize it but you begin to feel peace, the peace that only he can give.
Jesus instructed about the love, goodness and peace of his followers, that these three things abound in our hearts; God tells us in his word in Matthew 6:26.
“Look at the birds of the sky, which do not sow, nor reap, nor gather into barns, and yet the heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of much more value than they?”
Because we have to worry, if he takes care of our needs; but what should I do? Immerse myself in the word of God, and he will do. God knows everything but he wants to lead us through his teachings but you must want to.
The Only Begotten Son, teaching of Jesus
Jesus Christ taught and guided so that everyone understood that He was the only begotten son of God, as it says in John 3:16-17
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him .”
God, our Father, says from heaven in Matthew 17:5 , “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; listen to him .” Likewise, He taught that His appearance was like that of His Father, which is why He told His disciples, “ If you had known me, you would have known my Father also; and from now on you do know him and have seen him. ”
By looking for Jesus, we are looking for God; for he is God, and he is his son. We must understand his teachings in order to see the blessings in our lives.
The prodigal son
This is one of the teachings of Jesus where he reveals his great love for us, we find it in the book of Luke 15; the prodigal son guides us and says that God is always with open arms, waiting for us to cover us with his love and blessing.
This parable is well known and studied to exemplify the love of Christ; the Master uses the illustration of a deal between a father and his children; where the eldest of his sons, who is obedient, and the youngest son, rebellious and leaves the house. This parable teaches us about:
- Love, symbolized in the mercy of the father, by giving him the forgiveness of his son, when he returned after a long time. He made a good banquet and ordered to decorate with his best clothes and ordered to put a ring on his hand, representing his love and dedication.
- A genuine repentance, represented in the anguish, bitterness and sadness of the son when he squandered his inheritance and the scarcity and misery he experienced when he was left without fortunes or friends.
- Sin, personified in the disobedience and rebellion of the youngest son, when he asked his father for part of his inheritance and left, to live in what he thought was best.

The teaching of Jesus in this parable
He tells us that on many occasions we are like the youngest son, we want abundance, to enjoy, to enjoy, not to think about anything and a selfish heart even with our parents and family but even worse with God who is the one who gives us life and strength to work, thinking that everything is with our forces and all this is false.

At other times we are like the eldest son; Obedient followers of Christ, we attend church but pass judgment on others. He did this with his younger brother, he did not forgive her for leaving, but that beam was not his.
The good son of God must rejoice when his brother returns to the feet of Christ, regardless of his past or what he may have pending, God is the one who forgives and transforms.
Teachings of Jesus: the pearl of great price
This teaching narrates the life of a man who sold everything he had to be able to reach his valued pearl, it is understood as a symbol when referring to faith, the kingdom of Heaven, to Jesus. But many people do not understand this meaning and think of the pearl as another type of prize, out of reality.
The allegory about a merchant who sells people what they do not need at a price that often cannot be canceled; and all for a pearl; which he cannot consume, nor base on, cannot be wrapped up in, but he speculates that owning it will make him proud and happy.
The parable includes finding out what is your own pearl? By knowing our concerns and anxieties, it would be less to think about worrying about things or objects. By removing this empty feeling, we can appreciate and value our family more, friends even acquaintances, because we know what is most significant to them.
When Jesus spoke, it was short and to the point; true messages, that provoke, the only thing that happened was that nobody wanted to assume it and recognize it. You don't need to be a fan of a religion, when it is a simple message, to value your neighbor more than the things that surround you.
Parable of the Wheat and the Tares
This parable refers to the teachings of Jesus in the book of Matthew, chapter 13 from verse 24-26 and says:
“The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while the workers were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared. ”
In this passage reference is made to the good seed that is the wheat that is sown by God; in the same way that he has come to take away, kill and devastate. He comes to this world and sows tares next to the wheat, since his purpose is to destroy the work that the farmer wants to do, that is, the work of God.
Story
The wheat, although with difficulty can continue to progress and bear fruit next to the tares that it tries to suffocate, it is significant that the tares do not stir. Because as Jesus says, removing the weeds runs the risk of also eradicating the wheat.
Which can be a wheat that is not yet fully mature and is very agglutinated to the weeds; just by seeing them they look the same, there is not much incompatibility in appearance; you must wait for the fruit to come out to be able to differentiate it.
The Lord tells us that this does happen: on the same path; next to wheat, good seed, tares will also prosper. These are differentiated by the fruit they originate, one is bitter and the other is sweet.
We have to let them prosper together, and it will be at the end of time that they will be separated; the discord will be bound and wielded to be calcined and the wheat will be passed to the barn of the Lord, who allows there to be everything in his barn, but when the harvest comes he will separate the good from the bad.
THE LOST SHEEP, teaching of Jesus
The biblical quote reads as follows in the book of Matthew, chapter 18 verses 12 to 14:
"What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them strays, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go through the mountains to look for the one that had strayed? And if it happens that he finds her, truly I tell you that he rejoices more for her than for the ninety-nine who did not go astray. Thus, it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven, that one of these little ones perish."
When the Lord refers to the 100 sheep, he chooses that number because it represents the average tendency because in those times the flocks of sheep could be formed from 20 to 200 lambs. Meaning that he wasn't a rich man but he wasn't a poor man either.
The lost sheep did not give it a name, these sheep owners classified them and gave them names, while the one chosen by the Lord left it anonymous. It remains anonymous because it represents all human beings.
When referring to the man who jumped to look for the sheep that had been lost, it is not said that he was a shepherd, since for those days that shepherd's job had been distorted, they despised that job and left it for those who could not study.
Teaching
When the Lord refers to the care of the remaining 99, he instructs us that God loves in a gigantic way all those people who are far from him as well as those who are faithful to him.
This person who goes out to look for that sheep that got lost, were experts in what they did; When they were in the deserts, mountains or on the roads that did work, they used to make corrals and places where they could rest with their lambs and know that they would not leave there. These could be done at the same time you needed it.
This man had 100 sheep, which meant that he was careful, he was a good shepherd who watched over the care and protection of his cattle, he carefully financed his income, without studies. At no time did he neglect the rest, the 99; God should be thanked for each person who repents and returns to his path, a path that he already has designed just for him.
The Good Samaritan
Through this teaching, Jesus narrates a story of a man who was beaten, mistreated and robbed, left for dead; but he clung to life, many people who passed by, prominent people, priests and ignored him; while a Samaritan, not from high society, with whom he had had many difficulties, when he saw him he felt sorry for him and offered him help.
This kind of person, you were despised by everyone because they were half-breeds; Seeing the man lying down he picked him up, poured wine and oil on his injured parts, tied them up and then placed the man on his donkey. The Samaritan moved him to a shelter and took care of him.
Jesus fulfills the Law expressing that we not only agree to love our opponents, just as the Samaritan did, but that we must go further, as far as to pray for them, help them, understand why they act that way because in their hearts the love of God is not impregnated.
We must think, how many times have we asked God for that person who is not your family, nor your loved one, but on the contrary, is a person with whom you have many difficulties and problems, who has been a person who has humiliated you, has despised and mistreated. How many times have you had mercy on that person?
This is what Jesus wants to convey in his teachings, forgiveness so that we can be forgiven, because if we are not capable of forgiving, turn the page and ask for that person you don't even want to see, how will you achieve justice, if you are not fair . The character of Christ over our lives.
