This dog is usually an even better Labrador than him, if there are children in the border collie's environment he will play the role of mother, if the child has to go to school the border collie will accompany him and wait until he leaves, however, he can suffer of some diseases such as deafness, cataracts, epilepsy which not all dogs suffer from and less in the magnitude that this animal can suffer from, its life can last seventeen years, if it is well cared for.
