It didn't work for the Canadian to ask his fans to pull VPN and night sessions of Yummy in loop. Sonly It has earned him the second place of the most listened to songs. And that Roddy Ricch himself, in a show of lordship, asked his fans on Twitter to listen to the Canadian's song.

Overcome the Christmas break / Mariah Carey everywhere, all the classic occupants of the Billboard Hot 100 returned to their place. Post Malone, Travis Scott, Harry Styles… Everyone? No.

Still, it's worth paying close attention to Roddy Ricch's next steps. Although it is still very early to draw conclusions, the Californian could be on the path to emulate the surprising beginnings of his countryman Kendrick Lamar almost a decade ago with his shocking Section 80.
That we are in Roddy Ricch season is demonstrated by his collaborations with Meek Mill y Nipsey Hustle in 2019, as well as his three 2020 Grammy nominations. Roddy Ricch also regained his top spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week. The last time an artist topped both Billboard charts was Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper thanks to the soundtrack of A star is born.
