Psalm 103 is a praise that is authored by King David. This worship song was born in the last years of King David's life, where after having fought endless battles, he presented health problems, betrayals and anguish. As Christians we must understand that bad times are part of life. The Lord has never deceived us, Jesus when he was on Earth tells us clearly we are in a world of wolves. But, that does not mean that when we are in the turmoil we will be alone.

And King David knew that the promise of being cared for by Jehovah while he fulfilled his commands was going to last forever. God does not half-promise us or deceive us into believing that we are accompanied. Jehovah is a God of Truth, that's why when we read that he will not support us in the bad day, as Christians we have to thank, raise our hands, kneel down and have faith that this is true.
The Psalms
The word Psalms is derived from the Hebrew Tehillim which translates as “praise”. The book of Psalms is composed of different songs by various authors. However, King David is credited with the majority of authorship.
Traditionally the Book of Psalms is divided into five parts. Here are some of them:
Psalms of Lament
They are those that express prayers or cries that correspond to situations of anguish. It was the way of requesting through praise the divine intervention of Jehovah. These songs in turn are separated into two important groups: the Psalms for the community and the Psalms for the believers.
Psalms 44: 25-26
25 Because our soul is burdened to the dust,
And our body is prostrate to the ground.26 Get up to help us
And redeem us because of your mercy
When we refer to the community we are addressing the attacks of the enemy while we are generally interceding for the believer for some illness.

This Psalm, as we already know, was written by King David and titled "Praises for God's blessings." Just by analyzing the title we realize that David is blessing and thanking the Lord for those things that he gave him and that he also took from him.
Sometimes we believe that the blessings are the ones that come into our lives and it is not so. If we are true children of God and we comply with his Holy Word. Numbers 6: 24-26
24 Jehovah bless you, and keep you;

1 Bless, my soul, Jehovah,
And bless all my being his holy name.2 Bless, my soul, Jehovah,

When we praise the Lord our body is filled with joy, peace and love for our Holy Creator. And when King David refers to “none of its benefits” He is calling us to list each of our blessings in a conscious way. When we do this exercise of noting blessing by blessing, we realize that on many occasions, if not the majority, we are completely ungrateful to our Lord.
There are many things that we take for granted while if we see it from a different point of view we realize that they are blessings that not everyone enjoys.

What blessings does the Lord give me?
From verse 3 to 7, King David exhorts us to remind ourselves that these are just one of the many blessings that Jehovah gives us. We must remember that the Book of Psalms is found in the Old Testament, which indicates that these promises are before the first coming of Jesus to Earth.
Which means that even before Jesus Christ arrived, the Lord was already telling us to forgive us, heal us, rescue us, have mercy on us, among others. The Lord is a God of covenant and he always showed us that's why when he tells us that he will take care of us and protect us from all evil we must believe him.
Psalms 103:3-5
3 He is the one who forgives all your iniquities,
The one who heals all your ailments;4 The one who rescues your life from the hole,
The one who crowns you with favors and mercies;5 The one that satisfies your mouth with good
So that you rejuvenate yourself like the eagle.

From the beginning with Adam and Eve. The Lord showed us that he is merciful, loving, merciful, correct and just. As Christians we know that without Him we have no salvation or option to anything.
In true eternal love
Once again we emphasize the deep and eternal love that Almighty God has for each one of us who are his children. We as Christians know that He is faithful and that our fear of being without Him is something that we cannot help but feel, that is why we constantly seek to please Him and live in His glory.
Psalms 103:17-18
17 But the mercy of the Lord is from eternity and to eternity on those who fear him,
And his justice on the sons of the sons;18 On those who keep his covenant,
And those who remember his commandments to put them into action.
The Lord in his Holy Word to those who fear him tells us that we were chosen before the foundation of the world. If we analyze this phrase, God is telling us that before we were born we already had his love. His love for us is eternal, it is incomprehensible and deep.
King of Kings
