Prayer to the Divine Child
This is the prayer to the Divine Child Jesus that is recited daily by his faithful devotees, in which they ask him to watch over us, love us, and help us to be better people. Divine Child Jesus, you are the master of my life and of my heart, you are my tender and beautiful child, today I come before you with high hopes, to beg your great mercy and ask you for many blessings, which you always pour out on your devotees, when you open your arms to spread love and generosity.
Beloved and blessed Child, you are my Savior. I want you to always be by my side so that you will not let me fall to evil. I want to be like you, great in wisdom and grace in the eyes of God and other human beings. Divine Child, you are small and sweet, know that I will always love you with all the strength of my soul. I ask you to bless me, to listen to me, and to help me in these moments.
Child full of kindness in my life, you who are the consolation of Christians, I ask you for this grace I so desperately need in this moment of despair and distress, when my life is unsettled, and so I place myself in your hands. (Make your request here.)
Divine Child, you know my pain, for in you I entrust all my feelings. You are the one who soothes people's anguish and comforts hearts. Now I ask you to do the same for me. And although I know that sometimes I don't deserve the love you give me, know that I don't come to you out of vanity, because I know that you are the Son of God and the one who provides help to Christians.
Remember, beloved child, that it has never been heard that whoever has not implored you has never received your help, so with great confidence and simplicity, with humility and repentance, full of hope and love, because I know that you will do miracles and works in a quick way, grant me this favor that I ask (repeat your request again).
Divine Child Jesus, give us your blessing, hear our prayers, be our comfort, our help, our protection, be you who defends us since we trust completely in you. So be it, Amen.
