In the context of the Gospel of Luke 11, we assume that the disciples were looking for the Lord Jesus Christ and found him praying in a secluded place. They were so impressed by the discipline, perseverance, dedication and time that Jesus Christ gave to prayer that they decided to ask him to teach them how to pray.

Life in prayer of the Lord
The disciples of Jesus realized that the power of a Christian is found in the communion that can exist between a disciple and God. This communion is only possible through prayer and holiness.
Communion can be achieved through prayer and holiness. In this fellowship is where our Heavenly Father has hidden the spiritual power of his children. The success of Christ's earthly life was found in those moments of fellowship he had with his Heavenly Father.
Given the concern of the disciples to ask the Lord how we should pray, our Lord Jesus Christ presents them with a model of prayer. The Our Father does not mean that it is a prayer given to be repeated as many followers of Christ tend to do.
The Word of God warns us that vain repetitions are not heard by the Father. In Matthew 6: 7 the Lord Jesus Christ warns us that we should not use these repetitions believing that while we do them our father listens.
Matthew 6: 7
7 And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do, for they think that by their many words they will be heard.
This means that the Lord does not listen for the number of rosaries that some believers may pray. Nor is it the time spent in prayer, much less the number of words spent in a prayer. The important thing in this case is the quality of the prayer. In this sense, Jesus Christ does not use the Our Father so that his disciples repeat it constantly, but rather represents a model to follow in our prayers.
Repeating the Our Father prayer contradicts the teaching that Jesus left us in Matthew 6:7. We insist that it is a model of prayer. As a pattern so that we his disciples have a model to follow when praying.

This makes it clear to us that according to the Holy Scriptures, not all human beings are children of God. The Bible says that before we were Christians, we were dead to God. In this context, God was only our creator, we are all creatures of God, but according to the Bible not all of us are sons and daughters of God. It is important for the Christian to know that he has entered into a filial relationship with the creator of the universe. For this reason we can now say Father.
For this reason we can now say Father or cute daddy Abba father! This filial relationship allows me to approach and speak to him as a true Father. The author and originator of our spiritual life is now certainly our Father as his Word affirms:
Romans 8: 15
15 For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba, Father!”
Reading this verse we can realize that we are adopted children of our heavenly Father. So before we received our Lord we were afraid and hid from God. Just like our parents Adam and Eve did when sin entered the Earth.
They both hid from God and were disconnected from heaven. So, by inheritance, the human being began to go through life with that fear. By not having a relationship with God, that relationship was interrupted. By separating ourselves from God we were deprived of the Glory of God. This means spiritual death.
However, the Lord created us with eternity in our hearts and for this reason humanity has always tried to find God. What man never understood is that he is the Father who seeks us. Just like he did with Adam when he was hiding from God's presence.
Ecclesiastes 3:11
11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
As we have mentioned before, our heavenly Father adopted us and placed us in the position of sons. The word inheritance means that we have been placed with the privileges of a true son, which is why Jesus Christ is called our older brother. But we must make it clear that Jesus Christ is the only Only Begotten Son of God, simply because he has the essence of God and is God in the flesh.

In addition to recognizing our filial relationship with our Father, we must know that our God is not on this planet, but according to our Father, the Lord is in heaven.

Hallowed be thy name
Jesus also reminds us that God's name is Holy. Sanctified comes from the word hagiaso, which means set apart, different. It means separate, pure. Holiness is intimately related to purity.
The Old Testament in Leviticus 19:2, God speaks to the people of Israel through his servant Moses so that the people of God may be Holy as God is Holy. In the Word of God, specifically in the New Testament, it tells us that we have been called to live in holiness.

Separated different section
God enters our life to make us saints. It does not mean that Christians are already better than other people, but it is because the Holy Spirit that dwells in us makes the presence of God enter our lives. This makes us different from others, from other human beings.

We will live forever once God enters your life. We have been destined for eternity in the presence of God. This is what makes us different, makes us burn living separated from the things of the world and its passions.
According to the Bible in ancient times, the name reflected the character of the person. In the case of the Our Father, the name of God (YWHW) reflects that the character of our heavenly Father is Holy.
Before Abraham met God, he had a different name from the name that the father of faith now bears. He was previously called Abram. When he begins to be part of God's plan, the Lord changes his name and puts him Abraham. This name means father of many people. From this derives the holiness of God. His own name tells us that he is Holy.
Let your kingdom come
With this request we declare that when we are praying we must be aware that the kingdom of God is within us. As the Holy Spirit of God dwells in us and his kingdom is with you and with me. Now, you must have fellowship and holiness with our heavenly Father. Remember that God does not dwell in sin, nor in filth.
Thy will be done
When the Christian prays, he must keep in mind that beyond our requests and our needs, we must accept that God's will be done in our lives, no matter what it is. When the Lord listens to our prayers he begins to direct our lives according to his perfect plan for each one of us.
Give us today our daily bread
When Jesus Christ teaches us to “ give us this day our daily bread,” He is referring to daily bread, not weekly or monthly. In this prayer, the Lord Jesus Christ establishes that we should ask the Father for daily assistance, that He may provide for us each day.
Our prayers cannot be lost in requests that are going to be a week from now, a month from now, but what is going to happen on a day-to-day basis. Since Jesus urges us not to worry about tomorrow.
forgive our offenses
At the time of praying it is necessary that we reflect, review and expose our hearts. This in order to realize how we are leading our Christian lives. If God the Father sent his only Son to be beaten, tortured and crucified on Calvary's Cross so that our sins would be forgiven. Do not let us fall into temptationn
When we ask the Lord in prayer to " lead us not into temptation," we are asking Him to keep us from anything that could harm us. A clear example is when Jesus is praying in the Garden of Gethsemane and asks God the Father to take this cup from him, referring to the hours that lay ahead, but he also accepts the Father's will.
Deliver us from evil
It is important to understand this prayer as the request that we make to the Lord to free us from the danger that we face in this world. Let us remember that our fight is not against flesh or blood, but against powers.
Amen
Amen translates as "so be it" and was used in many biblical verses where they assured us of the acceptance of both blessings and oaths that were given in the Old Testament. With the coming of Jesus, the Son of God, the word "amen" was used in the Gospels for the affirmation that his statements are the truth.
