Only God knows my heart
There is no one on this earth who fully understands us better than God. This supreme God is a close and intimate Deity who is concerned with the details of our lives, this is the most certain truth we have.
This supreme being knew us even before we were born, and has been with us ever since. Let's meditate on the four things that God mentioned about us in the Psalms. Let us thank him, not only because he knows us, but because he also loves us and wants to be our friend, take care of us and guide us forever.

God knows us in the least
The psalmist David tells us of a personal God who cares about everything related to his children. God knows everything from the most trivial to the deepest and most secret aspects of our lives, and that's why we can assure ourselves that only God knows my heart. We saw that he knew when we sat down and when we stood up, and that the daily hustle and bustle overwhelmed us and our time for rest. That supreme divinity knows what is happening within our hearts and souls, the intention that exists before we express anything. He knows what will happen along the way; during the process, we analyze and filter what can be said safely and what cannot. Humans hear our words, but God knows the intention of the heart.
Precisely because He knows our inner truth, He chooses to guide us, knowing we need His guidance, His loving presence, and His protection. Like a loving father, He cares for us and gently guides us to speak, act, and live in a way that is pleasing to Him. God knows our struggles
Where can I get rid of your spirit? Where can I escape from you? If I go to heaven, there you are. If I make my bed at the bottom of the abyss, you are there too.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn, or settle on the extremities of the sea, then even there your hand will guide me and your right hand will reach me. And if I say: "Let the darkness hide me, let the light become the night around me," Darkness is not darkness for you, and even night will become day. Darkness is for you the same as light! (Psalm 139:7-12).
In life, sometimes we want to be alone, either because of problems or beyond our circumstances, we are trying to get rid of everything. But God is omnipresent, no matter how hard we try, we cannot avoid his presence. No matter where we go, no matter what time it is, he is with us, he knows all our frustrations and struggles, and he will not let them leave us: he has always been with us.
How can we imagine that we, mere humans, can hide from him, or hide reality from him? He knows everything, he knows everything, willing to accompany us, help us, guide us and help us with his hands. Can we allow it?
God knows how our body was formed
I praise you because I am an admirable creation! Your work is great, I know him very well! When I was formed in the depths, when I was entwined in the earth, my bones were not alien to you. Your eyes look at my pregnant body: your book is finished, all my days are in design, although none of them have ever existed. God, how precious are your thoughts about me! How great is your sum! If I start to count them, they add up to more than sand. (Psalm 139:14-18).
A wonderful description of how and when God first met us! He has known Us since before we were born! He has molded our bodies very finely. We are his most special creation, we were created in his image and portrait of him (Genesis 1:26-27).
When we think of the billions of people in this world and the uniqueness of each of them, we cannot help but be amazed at the amazing creativity of our God. If we increase the complexity of the human body (bones, veins, internal organs, etc.), our surprise will be even greater. We are definitely an admirable creation!
Even more impressive is that God knew us long before anyone knew we existed. He uses the fingers of love, every cell of the body and every part of the body to form us. He greatly respects everyone, has great compassion and kindness for everyone, and created a special purpose for everyone (Psalms 138:8).

God knows our emotions
Oh God, if you want to take the lives of the wicked! If bloodthirsty people turn away from me, those who maliciously slander you and resist you will be in vain! Lord, don't I hate those who hate you, don't I hate those who reject you? My hatred against them is eternal hatred; I count them as my enemies! God, look for me, look for my heart. Let me stand the test and explore my own ideas. See if I go astray and guide me on the path of eternity. (Psalm 139: 19-24)
The one who reads the psalms expresses strong emotions before God, deep frustration in his heart. He felt that they were talking peacefully with God because he knew that God already knew them. God did not hide anything! God knows our emotions and God is fair. We can put in front of him everything that we did not understand and think of injustice in his life, and wait for him to act with justice and his time.
But in addition to expressing his own feelings, David also asked God to study his heart and thoughts. He didn't want these feelings to get the best of him. He longed for God's instructions in all aspects of his life, including his emotional directions.
David knew that he was imperfect as a person and that he would make mistakes. He asked God to examine his own feelings and thoughts, thus showing great wisdom, he also shows humility by recognizing that God is the only way that can clearly show him what is wrong, and guide him on the path to eternity.

God knows everyone's heart
God knows the hearts of all, but Deuteronomy 8:2 relates that Jehovah condemned his people to wander 40 years in the desert to find out what was in the hearts of its inhabitants. How can this be? We'll explain it this way: The quote in Acts 1:24 clearly shows that God knows everyone's heart. See what he says:
"Then pray, they say: You, the Lord who knows all, show which of these two you have chosen"
Peter stated in his prayer that God knows the heart of all people, which means that people's thoughts are already understood by God even before the words come out of their mouths.
A person cannot know what another person thinks, unless the person says it from his mouth. There are even some risks in the exchange of ideas, because one thing is what a person thinks, and another what he says with his lips. It is different, what the interlocutor hears is different and what the interlocutor understands is different. They are challenges in any communication process. Therefore, carefully consider the importance of the word that we are about to say, so that the people who hear it do not misunderstand it.
But with God, there is no such problem, because God knows the heart of man, or God knows the mind of man. 1 Samuel 16:7 says:
«The Lord said to Samuel: Do not look at his appearance or his stature, for I will reject him. For the Lord does not look at the eyes of people. For people look at the things that are before them, the Lord but looking inward.»
Obviously, God knows what is in people's hearts and they don't need people to tell God.
Now, let's look at another prayer you mentioned. It is found in Deuteronomy 8:2, but to include the context, we will read verses 1 to 6, it says:
"You will carefully carry out every commandment I command today so that you may live and multiply, enter and possess the land that the Lord promised after the oath to your ancestors.
