Book Momo Summary
Momo is the main character of a novel by Michael Ende, set in the ruins of an ancient amphitheater in a large Italian city. Momo has a cheerful personality, which is why she always has a happy disposition. She is affectionate and kind to people, and has many friends. She is also a great virtuoso, and she has a gift for listening.
Many people look for her to tell her their problems, due to her great ability and secret that she has a special power to know how to support them to solve their personal conflicts.
Momo lives among the ruins of a small room beneath the amphitheater, and is unaware that at any moment they will be threatened by a terrifying visitor: the men in gray. They are strange creatures who attack the tranquility of the city, robbing its inhabitants of their harmony. They seek to disturb people's time and convince them to give them theirs.
These gray men show them malicious mathematical calculations, they appear and write down in a notebook the time they lose daily in activities, and that according to them are of no use, such as: hobbies, being kind and attentive to people, sharing and talking, resting some time after meals, reflect, and lend support to others.

His friends Gigi and Beppo arrive, he tells them what happened with the gray man, and they plan what they should do. Gigi thinks that Momo reminds them that they are immune to attacks, while Beppo thinks that it is a large and dangerous group.
Momo runs all over the city, everyone trying to catch her. In one instance, when they almost catch her, Momo inadvertently crosses the boundaries of time behind her turtle friend and ends up at the home of the Master of Time, a legendary, humorous man who protects Momo and teaches her the mysteries of time and the origin of life.
