Mexican Saints
Latin America is considered one of the continents most devoted to different deities and religions, whether it be Santeria, spiritism or the world-renowned Catholicism, it should be noted that there is a large number of virgins and saints who are worshiped by the church and patterns that are respected by a large number of parishioners.
Among all the Latin American countries noted for their devotion to various saints, Mexico stands out, considered the country with the greatest devotion to various figures, patron saints, or blesseds. Saint Jude Thaddeus

He was a Christian monk born in Italy in the middle of the year 480, very characterized by being an exorcist during the period of his ministry, leading a hermit life and away from all the pleasures of life and the outside world, exercising God's mandate to drive away the negative energies that tormented most people and all those who approached in search of his help.
He was known for the array of artifacts and symbols used during his exorcism sessions, including a cross he carried and a medallion bearing ancient codes. Over time, some objects and relics were found that bore the figure of Saint Benedict of Nursia with words inscribed in Latin, serving as key objects for exorcism rituals. These images are highly sought after, and replicas are highly venerated in Mexico City.
Saint Charbel
Saint Chárbel is also known as Sarbelio or José Antonio (Youssef Anton), he was a religious of Arab origin, specifically Maronite initially dedicated as a monk at the age of 20 and then consecrated to the priesthood. He was always characterized by his great love for Christ and the work of preaching his word, he always dedicated himself to prayer, fasting and constant suffering for love of the poor.
Among some of his most notable gifts was his healing of the sick, and for many of his followers, he continued to perform miracles. One of the most common rumors after his death is that his body remains undegraded and maintains its natural temperature. In the mid-1950s, a cloth was applied to his face, leaving the face of Christ imprinted on the cloth.
Saint Charbel is one of the saints highly venerated in Mexico, especially in the Church of San Agustín in Salamanca, where rituals in honor of Saint Charbel are frequently performed. He is venerated as the saint for catastrophic illnesses and is also highly sought after for matters related to finding work and financial stability; in some cases, he is also sought after for esoteric matters.
Holy Child of Atocha
The Divine Child represents one of the most venerated appearances among Catholic believers, representing the veneration of Jesus' childhood. In this case, popular beliefs describe him as a child carried in the arms of the Virgin of Atocha. The child was fully clothed in simple but dirty clothing. There are many related stories, highlighting the main event: some miners were trapped inside the mine, and the Child of Atocha brought them food and showed them the way out.
There are numerous apparitions attested by various people attributed to the Holy Child of Atocha, always depicting a dirty child bringing food to the needy. Saint Martin Knight
Saint Martin the Knight is a saint highly venerated in the Catholic Church. Also known as Saint Martin of Tours, he was born in Hungary in the middle of the year 316. He was born into a pagan family loyal to the Roman Empire. Upon reaching adulthood, he was forced to serve in the Roman army. Over time, he learned the word of God and decided to become a Christian, abandoning the army and dedicating himself to living as a monk in a monastery, claiming that he was a legacy of Christ and not of the empire.
One of the most notable events in Martin's life was when he encountered a beggar who was almost naked. He decided to cut his cloak in two and give one of the pieces to the man. At night, Jesus appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Martin, you have clothed me today." He is a highly venerated saint in Mexico, considered the patron saint of Acayucán, and much sought after for all those urgent needs related to work and money.
San Pascual Bailon
It corresponds to a Franciscan friar who is highly revered in the Catholic Church, attributed as the patron saint of cooks, associations and any Eucharistic congress. He was born in the middle of the year 1549 in Spain, he was part of a simple family, shepherds of sheep helping in the work of the fields from an early age. When he was older he moved to Valencia, once there he asked to be part of the Franciscan organization.
He was characterized as a friar who cultivated his spirit through constant prayer and the writing of modest texts. Among his most notable miracles are the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and the healing of the sick. He represents a highly venerated and respected saint in Mexico, specifically in Puebla, followed primarily by cooks who dedicated and created dishes in his honor.
San Antonio de Padua
He is considered one of the great patrons of the Catholic Church. Also known as Anthony of Lisbon, he was born in 1191 in Portugal. He was a Franciscan priest, known for his great Portuguese preacher and theologian. He is known for numerous miracles, such as the visit of the Child Jesus and the mule that arrived at the Eucharist and knelt before everyone, among many others. He is considered one of the most important Christians of the Catholic Church to be canonized.
He is considered the great patron saint of single women, much sought after by women hoping to find a good boyfriend. He is the popular saint who stands on his head to pray for success in love. He is considered one of the most miraculous saints and is highly venerated throughout the world. He is also widely recognized as a matchmaker, being much sought after in ancient times by women seeking a husband.
