Isaiah one of the great prophets chosen by God to bring his message to Israel and to the whole world. He knows why the book of Isaiah, the first and longest of the major prophets, has caused and continues to cause controversy, and their authorship is unknown.
Isaiah
Isaiah is one of the major prophets who was called the evangelist prophet, since he was the only prophet found in the Old Testament. It provides us with a comprehensive exposition of the gospel of God in Jesus Christ.
The book is made up of the visions that Jehovah revealed to his prophet and sermons that Isaiah made to the people of Judea and Jerusalem. Which was where he primarily exercised his prophetic mission.
Isaiah 1:1
1 Vision of Isaiah son of Amoz, which he saw about Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
Isaiah was an upper middle class person and he was also educated and prepared for his times. He was a man who had access to public officials and that is why he rendered his services to four main kings of the time.
He was a man with a strong character and without fear of the rulers, he always fulfilled the designs that the Creator had entrusted to him. Hated by King Ahaz and on the contrary protected and favored by King Hezekiah.
The book of Isaiah shows us great prophecies that would be fulfilled about the people of Israel and the nations around her and that are about to be fulfilled at the end of time.
Book of Isaiah
When Isaiah began to prophesy was when the captivity in Babylon and the captivity in Assyria ended. In 722 BC, 10 captive tribes of Israel were taken into the Assyrian empire and only two tribes were left standing, the tribe of Benjamin and the tribe of Judah.
The times of Isaiah were difficult and tormenting times for the people of Israel. They lived in anguish because of the possible invasions to which they were continuously threatened. It is because of this fact that the people, instead of drawing closer to God, rather moved away from Him.
The book of Isaiah is divided into three sections which are classified as follows:
- First section: message on Jerusalem and Judah (1.1 – 5.30), the book of Emmanuel (6.1 – 12.6), message on foreign nations (13.1 – 23.18), apocalypse of Isaiah (24.1 – 27.13), judgment on Judah and Israel (28.1 – 35.10) and history of Hezekiah (36.1 – 39.8).
- Second Section: consolation to Israel (40.1 – 55.13).
- Third Section: message to returnees (56.1-66.24).
Much has been said about this book, as there is a theory that the book was developed by three different people. The style of writing, the vocabulary used and in emphasis, is different from one another.
However, there is another group of scholars who maintain the position and faithful conviction that it was only the prophet Isaiah, who develops and witnesses everything revealed in this wonderful book.
Through this wonderful book, the Lord shows his prophet the things that would happen in his times and in future times. Wonderful visions and experiences recounted by Isaiah, which show us once again that the Bible is the true word of God.
Message about Jerusalem and Judah in Isaiah
Isaiah prophesied to two kingdoms, as he did to the people of Judah, mainly in the south, and to the people of Jerusalem.
The prophet faces a people totally alienated from God. Paganism, idolatry, wickedness, adultery were observed, as well as a society that was continually threatened to go to war.
From chapter one of the book of Isaiah, the vision that God reveals to the prophet about the sins and the way of life of the people is shown. Making three points about Israel of the great abominations that this nation committed before the eyes of Jehovah.
First accusation against Israel
This first sign, with which the book of Isaiah begins, shows the way in which a father speaks to his children. God's relationship with Israel, since he chose them as his people, is like that of a father with his children.
Isaías 1: 2-3
2 Hear, heavens, and listen, earth; for the LORD speaks: I brought up children, and brought them up, and they rebelled against me.
3 The ox knows its owner, and the donkey its master's manger; Israel does not understand, my people do not have knowledge.
Jehovah reveals to the people of Israel the way in which they should live and what is pleasing to Him and they as his chosen people and lovers of the Lord should comply and obey.
However, their conduct was not to the liking of the Lord of hosts and it is what the Lord reveals to Isaiah so that he could get the message to his people.
Isaías 1: 4-5
4 O sinful people, people laden with wickedness, generation of wicked, depraved children! They forsook Jehovah, they provoked the Holy One of Israel to anger, they turned back.
5 Why do you still want to be punished? Will you still rebel? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
The purpose that God has with his children when punishing them is not to hurt or destroy them, it is to make them return from their sin and return to a life of holiness.
In this first chapter you can see God as a judge, sitting on a throne of justice, ready to punish the sins that the people of Israel committed over and over again. Moving away from his promises, law and the fear of Jehovah.
The King of kings shows Isaiah that his people did not know him and never knew him, they had less knowledge about him than the oxen and the donkeys to their owners. Jehovah's desire is that we know him, through his words.
Not only can we observe that the Jewish people were infested with sin and evil, that they had shown that they did not truly know the Holy One of Israel, but that they had abandoned him and turned back.
The Lord in rebuking Israel for their sins. He asks them two questions for them to reflect on. And it is that Jehovah really wanted his people to remember what his ancestors had experienced when they rebelled against God.
The Father did not want to punish Israel any more, but rather to give them life and life in abundance, but they chose again and again rebellion and therefore the punishment of the Almighty.
Second note on false worship
Jehovah in all his power and glory addresses the people of Israel with all truth and with his hand on his heart, to show them what is abominable in their eyes. The people of Israel, despite their sin, thought that by complying with religious traditions, they would be able to escape God's punishment.
Isaías 1: 11-12
11 What good is it to me, saith Jehovah, the multitude of your sacrifices?
I am fed up with burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fat animals; I do not want the blood of oxen or sheep or goats.
12 Who asks that of your hands, when you come to appear before me to trample my courts?
Here, it can also be seen how Jehovah clearly exhorts the people of Israel to turn from their evil ways or simply not to approach Him.
Israel had the erroneous idea that if they complied with the rites that God had established, even when their day-to-day actions were far from Him, God's favor and "entrance to heaven" was totally certain.
Jehovah only wants us to really serve him with all our hearts and souls to bless us. He who is Almighty knows the hearts and thoughts of all his chosen ones, that is why the false worship that the people of Israel brought to his holy Temple was not pleasing to him.
Isaías 1: 13-14
13 Bring me no more vain offering; frankincense is an abomination to me. New moon, Saturday and calling assemblies, I can't bear it. Your solemn festivals are iniquity!
14 My soul hates your new moons and your solemn festivals; They are burdensome to me and I am tired of bearing them.
God no longer wanted them to celebrate the festivals or present sacrifices before Him, because it was already an abomination before His presence and this was because of Israel's attitude towards life.
Third note on injustice and deception
Evil, murder, injustice, ambition, greed, and bribery were found in Judah and Jerusalem. However, the Lord had not given up on his people and his love for them was greater than his sin.
Isaías 1: 21-23
21 How have you become a harlot, you faithful city? It was full of justice, equity inhabited it, but now murderers inhabit it! 22 Your silver has become dross, your wine is mixed with water. 23 Your rulers are rebels and accomplices of thieves. Everyone loves bribery and goes after rewards; they do not do justice to the orphan nor does the cause of the widow come to them.
The Lord who is Almighty knew that there was a remnant that remains faithful to his ways and out of mercy and love for them the Lord gives them a message of redemption.
Even when the people of Israel had lived according to their passions and not to the will of God, the Lord establishes that for that small group of faithful, He would take revenge on all those who wanted to destroy it.
Isaías 1: 24-25
24 Therefore saith the Lord, the Lord of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel: Ea, I will take satisfaction from my enemies, I will avenge myself on my adversaries;
25 and I will turn my hand against you, and I will cleanse even the purest of your dross, and I will remove all your impurity.
The Almighty reveals to Isaiah that he would purge the impurities from the nation of Israel, so that they would return to being the holy nation they were in times past. He also shows him how he would eliminate evil and bring judgment against all who rise up against God's chosen people.
Jehovah's Future Reign in Isaiah
The Lord, by showing Isaiah the visions of what is to come, sends a message of faith and hope not only to the Jews, but to everyone who confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.
Isaiah 2:2
2 It will come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the house of the Lord will be established as the head of the mountains, and will be exalted above the hills, and all the nations will stream to it.
For many people the future is an enigma and they do not know what will happen. There are many theories about what will happen on planet Earth and with humanity. However, in the word of God, we can truly find everything that will happen.
Jehovah of the armies of all the peoples of the world, chose Israel to be his people, it is the holy place of God and where he will reign for eternity.
Isaiah 2:3
3 And many peoples will come, and they will say: Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
Isaiah, like other Old Testament prophets, begin to preach that the end times are coming and that is when the Creator will judge the Earth and thus establish his kingdom in Jerusalem.
All the nations of the world will go to Jerusalem to appear before Jehovah who will judge them and fill the world with the knowledge of God.
God's Future Purposes
After Jehovah judges the nations and each person according to their behavior, he will reign in Jerusalem and we will live in a new Earth and new heavens.
Evil will no longer exist, sin will no longer be found in our day to day because Jehovah will destroy it. We will live under the initial plan of the Lord and it is a life in abundance and in his holy presence.
There will be no sickness, pain, affliction, or any evil that we currently live on Earth. We will live in joy and grace in Christ Jesus and life will no longer be as we know it.
Isaiah 25:6
6 And the LORD of hosts will make all nations a feast of succulent delicacies on this mountain, a feast of refined wines, thick marrow and purified wines.
All this will be for all those who were faithful to the Lord and that is why the Father in Isaiah exhorts his people Israel to approach him in spirit and truth. So that you can enjoy the blessings to come from Heavenly Father.
future world peace
Human beings, despite the fact that they have lived practically since their beginnings in wars and conflicts, the desire and longing is to be able to live in peace.
The will of God when he created the human being was so that he would till the earth, rule over creation, praise and live under the will of the Father.
The King of kings and Lord of lords shows Isaiah in visions that when the day of the Lord comes, after evil has definitively ended, the peace that only God can give will be found in every corner of the planet.
Isaiah 2:4
4 And he will judge between the nations, and he will rebuke many peoples; and they will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they train for war anymore.
When all this happens, the Lord reveals that we will live in his light and will be intimately related to the Heavenly Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.
Isaiah 2:5
5 Come, O house of Jacob, and we will walk in the light of Jehovah.
Sins before the wrath of God
Throughout the word of God we can observe the character of the Lord and among one of the most predominant characteristics is that he is a God of justice. He also shows us that he is a God of love and mercy and that he puts these before his wrath.
However, it also reveals to us that there are many times that Jehovah warns his people and believers in general about the things they do that are not pleasing to him.
Many times as children of God, we turn from our evil ways and repent of these actions, but many others, we decide to continue under sin and doing our will.
Likewise, it happened in Judah and Jerusalem in the times of Isaiah, a rebellious people, far from God and without the slightest intention of returning to their ways. Therefore, Jehovah cannot stand aside and not judge their wickedness and that of the whole world, because it is not in Him to be unjust.
Among the main sins that Isaiah reflects in his book that the chosen people of God were committing, we have: they abandoned the ways of the Lord, idolatry of other gods, witchcraft and made alliances with people who do not have Jehovah as their God.
Isaías 2: 6-9
6 Certainly you have left your people, the house of Jacob, because they are full of customs brought from the east, and of soothsayers, like the Philistines; and make pacts with children of foreigners.
7 His land is full of silver and gold, his treasures have no end. Their land is also full of horses, and their chariots are innumerable.
8 Furthermore, their land is full of idols, and they have knelt before the work of their hands and before what their fingers have made.
9 And the man has bowed down, and the man has humbled himself; therefore he does not forgive them.
All of these things are abominations before the Creator and not only are they sins that were seen in the times of the prophet Isaiah, but they will also grow before the end times.
These things that are written in the book of Isaiah, is not only a reality of the time of the prophet, but they are signs that we must keep in mind and that Jehovah of armies leaves us in this book to be alert and understand in what time we meet.
The wrath and judgments of God
Since before the beginning of creation evil already existed, when satan revealed himself against the Heavenly Father and was expelled from the kingdom of God.
In the book of Genesis, the entrance of sin can be evidenced when Adam and Eve ate the fruit forbidden by the Lord, doing his will, regardless of and obeying the will of the Creator.
Even though God allowed this rebellion by the devil and evil continues to exist and even increase in the world, we must understand and believe that there is a day for judgment.
Isaiah had his spiritual eyes opened and through visions, he was able to observe and declare what the judgment of the King of kings and Lord of lords would be like at the end of time.
Isaías 2: 10-12
10 Get into the rock, hide in the dust, from the fearful presence of the Lord, and from the brightness of his majesty.
11 The haughtiness of the eyes of man will be brought down, and the pride of men will be humbled; and Jehovah alone will be exalted in that day.
12 For the day of the LORD of hosts will come upon every proud and haughty, upon every exalted, and he will be brought low;
The wickedness in the world will be such and the hardening in the hearts of men will be so strong that they will not repent of their sins. It is just at that moment when Jehovah Almighty will come with justice to end all these abominations and judge the world.
Among the judgments that God will bring in the end times on Judah and Jerusalem and all those who rejected his words, we find:
- The loss of basic needs
- All leaders specializing in every aspect of life will be removed
- Inexperienced leaders will emerge
- Oppression and anarchy.
Isaiah 3:1
For behold, the Lord Jehovah of hosts takes away from Jerusalem and from Judah the supporter and the strong, all sustenance of bread and all succor of water;
Glorious future of Jerusalem
Isaiah prophesies 750 years before Jesus Christ came into the world, the things that would happen and that the King of kings and Lord of lords had shown him.
God promises Israel a glorious end, which goes beyond everything that will happen in the entire world. After the judgments of the Most High and on all those who survive these things.
Isaías 4: 2-3
2 At that time the Yahweh's branch will be for beauty and glory, and the fruit of the land for greatness and honor, to the survivors of Israel.
3 And it shall come to pass that he that remains in Zion, and he that is left in Jerusalem, shall be called holy; all who are registered among the living in Jerusalem,
This shows the deep love that God has for his people. That even when they rebelled against Him not only before Jesus Christ, but during and after His Son, He will raise them up and bless them for eternity.
Isaiah sees how Jehovah will wash away the filth found in the remnant of God's chosen people and all this for the glory and renewal of Israel.
Isaiah 4:4
4 when the Lord washes away the filthiness of the daughters of Zion, and cleanses the blood of Jerusalem from her midst, with a spirit of judgment and with a spirit of devastation.
The parable of the vineyard
A parable is a codified language where spiritual truths are transmitted with earthly examples, in order to be understood and relate them to what is known to us.
Isaías 5: 1-3
5 Now I will sing for my beloved the song of my beloved to his vineyard. My beloved had a vineyard on a fertile hillside.
2 He had fenced it off and cleared rocks and planted it with choice vines; he had built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress in it; and he expected it to yield grapes, and it yielded wild grapes.
3 Now then, neighbors of Jerusalem and men of Judah, judge now between me and my vineyard.
The Holy Spirit reveals to Isaiah through this parable that God gave Israel the most blessed land in all the world. Where you could harvest the richest fruits and where the milk and honey flowed.
This is the spiritual life of each one of us. Jews and Christians today cannot bear fruit if they do not live in holiness with Jehovah. It is in the midst of Christ's light and purity that we grow spiritually.
Living separated from the shadow of the Almighty is living under the laws of this world and it is where fear and anger begin to invade the life of the believer. Only through repentance can we turn to the ways of our Heavenly Father.
If we submit and live according to the will of our Creator, He keeps us from all danger and that is what Jehovah of armies reveals in this wonderful parable to Isaiah.
Woes on the wicked
Isaiah was greatly used by the Lord, showing him not only the things that were pleasing to him and the wonders that he would do, but all those that were not pleasing to him.
In chapter five, the Almighty reveals the evils that greed brings to the life of any human being. Many Jews in Isaiah's time began to store property and wealth to increase their fortune.
The Creator reveals to Isaiah that his people lived according to the passions of the world, abandoning their way. The big problem in this situation is that not only the people had moved away, but their priests did not reprimand the people.
They spoke the messages that they wanted to hear and religiously fulfill their spiritual rites, but their hearts were far from the Lord.
Isaías 5: 11-12
11 Woe to those who rise in the morning to follow drunkenness; that they stay until the night, until the wine turns them on!
12 And at their banquets there are harps, vihuelas, drums, flutes and wine, and they do not look at the work of Jehovah, nor do they consider the work of their hands.
The people of Israel became slaves to greed, complacency and material hardening their hearts even more and this led them to lose not only their material goods, but also the blessings and favor of God.
Isaiah's vision and calling
Through this chapter we can delight in Jehovah's call to Isaiah. The prophet visualized the glory of God in all its splendor. Despite the difficult times they were experiencing and the comfortable position he had, he preferred to follow and fulfill the will of God.
Isaiah's spirit was raptured to heaven by the Almighty. Those were the times when Israel's decadence had reached its limit. Through this vision, the prophet's faith was strengthened, as he saw the holiness of the King of kings and Lord of lords.
Isaiah submitted to the will of Jehovah and without hesitation, told the Creator that he was at his disposal and that he would send him to the people to return them to the ways of the God of Israel.
Jehovah of armies was preparing Isaiah for his ministry, because He knew that what Isaiah had to face was not easy. The things that he would show her and the exhortations that he should make to his people and to the whole world.
Isaías 6: 1-3
1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lofty, and his skirts filled the temple.
2 Above him were seraphim; each had six wings; with two they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew.
3 And they cried out to one another, saying, Holy, holy, holy, the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory.
Birth and reign of the Messiah
In chapter nine of the book of Isaiah, the birth of the Messiah is shown. The true Light, which the Father promises, not only to Israel, but to everyone who believes in Him for his salvation.
Anguish and darkness would no longer dwell in the hearts of the Jewish people or of the Christians. Jesus would come to this world to fulfill the perfect and most painful work for the love of all of us.
One of the greatest blessings that comes along with the Lord Jesus, is that it would bring peace and joy, as only the Almighty could give.
The definitive victory over Israel and peace in the world would come with the Son of God, but also a communion like never before with the Father through his Beloved Son.
Isaiah 9: 2-4
2 The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, light has dawned on them.
3 You multiplied the people, and increased the joy. They will rejoice before you as they rejoice in the harvest, as they rejoice when they divide the spoil.
4 For you have broken his heavy yoke, and the rod from his shoulder, and the scepter of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.
The whole world was in the time of Isaiah as a woman in labor pains, there was no possible salvation. No human being could imagine the plan of the Creator and what he was willing to do for us.
If we bring these promises to the present, we will find that the world is again in confusion and darkness. However, our confidence is in our Lord Jesus and in his coming, to establish his eternal kingdom and his perfect peace.
Isaiah 9:6
6 For a child is born to us, a son is given to us, and the principality is on his shoulder; and his name will be called Wonderful of him, Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
Messiah's righteous reign
It is important to remember that the book of Isaiah was written approximately 2.750 years before Christ.
As the book of Isaiah is read, we understand that although it is a message that the prophet addressed to the people of Judah and Jerusalem. There are prophecies that are not yet fulfilled, but are about to be fulfilled.
The birth of the Messiah is a prophecy that the Lord reveals to Isaiah and that has already been fulfilled. However, the judgments and the reign of the Messiah are revelations that will be fulfilled at the end of time.
This is one of the most wonderful things that we find in the entire word of God, because it gives us the evidence of fulfilled prophecies.
After Jehovah's judgment, the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ will be established in Israel. A kingdom of justice, wisdom, intelligence, advice and power and of knowledge and fear of the Lord.
Isaiah 11:2
2 And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest on him; spirit of wisdom and understanding, spirit of counsel and power, spirit of knowledge and fear of the Lord.
Jesus Christ had the fullness of the Holy Spirit and all the manifestations in which He shows Himself, this is because there was no sin in Christ. The Heavenly Father reveals to Isaiah that when Jesus reigns, the manifestations of his Spirit will be upon him.
Also, the prophet Isaiah was able to contemplate in these visions that God's original plan regarding creation would be fulfilled in the reign of Jesus.
The fear of Jehovah, the peace and joy that only the Lord can give, coexistence among animals, care and value to the environment. It will be the wonderful way in which all of Christ's children will live.
Isaías 11: 6-9
6 The wolf will dwell with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the kid; the calf and the lion and the domestic beast will walk together, and a child will lead them.
7 The cow and the bear will graze, their young will lie down together; and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child will play over the asp's cave, and the weaned one will stretch out his hand over the viper's cave.
9 They will not do harm or harm in all my holy mountain; for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
Prophecy against Babylon
The thirteenth chapter of the book of Isaiah reveals to us the events that will befall Iraq in the last days. These prophecies are of double fulfillment, this means, that just as they were fulfilled in the times of Isaiah and that they are about to be fulfilled in the days of God's wrath.
The judgments that God is announcing and declaring are the same judgments for most of the nations that have followed the customs of Babylon. All human beings will come to stand before Christ to be judged.
Isaiah announces that all nations will submit to the divided judgment of the King of kings and Lord of lords, which is why he exhorts them to repent.
What Jehovah reveals to Isaiah for those final days really shows the great wrath of God. Therefore, the work of Jesus on the cross, so that everyone who repents has life and does not go through these things.
Isaías 13: 6-8
6 Howl, for the day of the Lord is near; it will come as desolation from the Almighty.
7 Therefore every hand will fail, and every human heart will fail,
8 and they will be filled with terror; anguish and pain will seize them; they will have pain as a woman in labor; everyone will be amazed when looking at her companion; her faces, faces of flames.
The Bible shows us in this chapter of the book of Isaiah reveals that Babylon is a nation away from God's design. A city that practices witchcraft, proud, vain, corrupt, given over to idolatry and wickedness.
The King of armies, being a God of justice, cannot let these things happen and not pass judgment on this. Isaiah demonstrates what it will be like on the day the nations are judged.
Isaiah 13:11
11 And I will punish the world for their wickedness, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease, and I will bring down the haughtiness of the mighty.
The king of Babylon, mocked
Satan is going to hide behind a king and this is another great revelation that Jehovah shows his prophet Isaiah. In the fourteenth chapter we find this great truth.
Isaiah 14:4
4 you will pronounce this proverb against the king of Babylon, and you will say: How the oppressor stopped, how the city greedy for gold ended!
It is in Babylon or Iraq as we know it today, where four of the strongest demons that the enemy has are tied. Waiting to be unleashed to generate destruction, death, fear and crying in the world.
Throughout this chapter, we can see how the enemy tries to cloud the knowledge about Jehovah. Seeking only to attract them to the things of this world to destroy them.
As the whole world will seek to reign to be equal to the Most High, through the antichrist, who will be the oppressor, who will reign and have control before the second coming of Christ.
Isaías 14: 12-14
12 How did you fall from heaven, oh Lucero, son of the morning! You were cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations.
13 You who said in your heart: I will ascend to heaven; on high, by the stars of God, I will raise my throne, and on the mount of testimony I will sit, on the sides of the north;
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, and I will be like the Most High.
The antichrist will deceive many for three and a half years of peace, plenty and prosperity. Then, he will unleash his wrath, his fury and his evil, against all those who seek to reveal themselves.
Jehovah's Judgment on Earth
The twenty-fourth chapter of Isaiah, called Jehovah's judgment on Earth, is also known as the apocalypse of Isaiah.
The prophet was taken through visions about the things that would happen in the whole world, from Jehovah's judgments on Israel to the passion of Christ. The redemption of Israel and the antichrist.
As has been developed throughout this post, we can determine, through the revelations that this wonderful book gives us, that they are prophecies that were fulfilled in past times and that are about to be fulfilled in future times.
Through these passages, the Holy Spirit reveals to us that the world would get sick through the contamination that the human being would have caused.
Isaías 24: 4-5
4 It was destroyed, the earth fell; he got sick, the world fell; the high peoples of the earth fell ill.
5 And the land was polluted under its inhabitants; because they transgressed the laws, they falsified the law, they broke the everlasting pact.
The Almighty reveals to his prophet Isaiah that we human beings had crossed the line that He had established. Crossing the laws of God and doing what is abominable before our Lord.
Within this destruction and over this darkness that covers the Earth, there will be a remnant of believers and faithful to the Lord. Followers of Jesus Christ who will continue to preach the word of God.
Isaías 24: 14-15
14 These will raise their voice, they will sing joyfully for the greatness of Jehovah; They will cry out from the sea.
15 For this glorify the Lord in the valleys; on the shores of the sea let the Lord God of Israel be named.
The Spirit shows us that this group of people who are in the end times will be joyful because they will remember the promises that our Lord Jesus made.
They will understand that all the things that were about to be fulfilled have already been done and that now the peace and light of Jesus Christ would come.
Just as there is this remnant of believers, who will praise the Heavenly Father in those times of anguish and terror. Isaiah was also able to observe a group of people who did not repent, but rather their hearts had hardened so much that not even these things made them return.
In the end times, human beings who do not turn to the Most High will be destroyed and consumed by the wrath of God.
Isaías 24: 21-23
21 It will come to pass on that day, that the Lord will punish the host of heaven on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
22 And they will be heaped up as those imprisoned in a dungeon are heaped up, and in prison they will be locked up, and they will be punished after many days.
23 The moon will be ashamed, and the sun will be confused, when the Lord of hosts reigns on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and before his elders he will be glorious.
Song of praise for Jehovah's favor and protection
After the judgments of God are fulfilled on his people and the nations and all these things take place. We will live in peace and joy, together with our Creator for eternity.
This is a wonderful revelation and one that should fill us with hope, not only the Jews, but also everyone who confesses and repents of their evil way.
The prophet Isaiah reveals in his book that everyone who remains faithful and in the ways of the Lord will have his favor and protection. Even when all these things happen, Jehovah is the strong rock of his children.
Isaías 25: 4-6
4 Because you were strength to the poor, strength to the needy in his affliction, refuge from the storm, shade from the heat; because the impetus of the violent is like a storm against the wall.
5 Like heat in a dry place, so you will humble the pride of strangers; and like heat under the cloud you will wither the offspring of the robust.
6 And the LORD of hosts will make all nations a feast of succulent delicacies on this mountain, a feast of refined wines, thick marrow and purified wines.
In this article we have emphasized two characteristics of the personality of the King of kings and Lord of lords, such as the fact that he is a just and merciful God. However, he is also a God of truth and what he promises he fulfills.
He is a shelter and shelter for everyone who stays in his ways and that the fear of the Lord is in his heart day and night.

Isaías 26: 2-4

3 You will keep in complete peace the one whose thought remains on you; because he has trusted you. Trust in Jehovah forever, because in Jehovah the Lord is the strength of the centuries.

It is amazing to see through all these chapters how rebellious and apostasy was found in Israel. The sins that plagued God's chosen people and surrounding nations. The sins and wickedness that have increased today have pushed God's patience to the limit.
The human being from the beginning, rebelled against the will of Jehovah, thus giving rise to sin in the world, so we can read it in some Parts of the Bible.
Jehovah of armies established laws, rituals and sacrifices that Israel had to do, so that their sins would be forgiven.
However, the word of God shows us that not only did Israel fall into sin again and again, but the world and even we as Christians sin daily.
The book of Isaiah, the Most High clearly speaks of the Messiah and what He would do at his first coming. Without this wonderful act of love, we would never have achieved salvation and perfect fellowship with God.
Today we can see in the news portals and in our daily lives, how the whole world is wrapped in confusion, darkness and sins. The wickedness of men and witchcraft have increased significantly.
We return to the times of Isaiah, where the apostasy begins to gain strength again and the hearts of some believers have turned away from the ways of Jehovah.
Pollution and the little care we have had with the planet, taking it to an extreme, where pollution is getting worse, grows every day.
Bringing us ever closer to the prophecies that the prophet recounts about God's judgments on his people and the entire earth.
Days of terror, anguish, destruction and torment are some of the characteristics that the Holy Spirit reveals to us through this book. However, our God is a loving and merciful God who cares for his children and his plan is not to destroy us, but for us to live with him in a new heaven and earth.
Isaiah 41:13
13 For I am the Lord your God, who holds you by your right hand and says to you: Do not fear, I will help you.
It is important that as Christians and children of God, we always keep in mind that the Bible is not just stories from the past, which happened according to each era to teach us the things that are pleasant and abominable for our creator.
It is the living, real and current word of God, which also shows us the things that are to come and happen, so that we are prepared, firm and faithful. May our eyes always be on the Most High and our hope in Him.
The book of Isaiah is the most real and absolute evidence that we can find about these things. Letting us know through the Holy Spirit, the signs to which we must be alert and not faint before our call as children of God. Keeping us in communion with Him, getting to know Him more every day and fulfilling His will, are things that are really pleasing to the Lord.
Isaías 41: 9-10
9 For I have taken you from the ends of the earth, and called you from distant lands, and said to you: You are my servant; I chose you, and I did not reject you.
10 Fear not, for I am with you; do not dismay, because I am your God who strives for you; I will always help you, I will always support you with the right hand of my justice.
Eternal glory be to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
