Ghibli is finally here. We mentioned a few days ago that Netflix is going all out this year. And we weren't lying. My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, and so on, up to a total of 21 titles—the entire Studio Ghibli film catalog— will arrive on Netflix in February. Netflix's agreement with Studio Ghibli for 2020 is valid worldwide except for the United States, Canada, and Japan . It begins on February 1, 2020, and includes the release of all 21 films the Japanese studio has produced in its 35-year history. However, they won't all be available at once. The releases will take place in three phases:
