Earlier this year, The Weeknd dropped a clear reference to Drake in his collaboration with Gesaffelstein on Lost in the Fire. Specifically, The Weeknd alluded to the scandal regarding Drake's secret son, whose existence we learned about thanks to The story of Addidon, (theme from beef that Drake had with Pusha T). 2020 promises to be interesting for Drake and The Weeknd
This unexpected new track from Drake,Was Belongs to the mixtape EL-KUUMBA-TAPE, from his partner El-Khatib. The Canadian rapper recently confirmed that he is preparing his next album, which is expected to come out in 2020.
Despite not releasing a new project in 2019 (just that weird August build, carepackage)This past year has been spectacular for Drake.
In recent years Drake has shown us that he is in a curious position. He can launch pretty much anything and be guaranteed to be a hit of clicks, listens and/or views.
The Canadian is still the king midas of urban music. Even though all his songs are so similar. Despite the fact that his themes are always the same (me, my women, my life as a rich man) and despite the fact that his style, as we have seen in Was be that monotonous and perpetual ratchet. Drake has the gift. And he hasn't worn himself out yet.

Updated 28/12/2019: Drake was forced to change the video clip from War after the internet went into a rage. Apparently, quite a few people were not amused that the video included the presence of the so-called chair girl, a woman who was convicted of disorderly conduct for throwing a chair into the street from her Toronto apartment.
