Little Prince Review
Below, we'll briefly review the work titled The Little Prince. To begin, we should note that the central theme of the book is the arrival of a traveling infant on Earth. He arrives on the planet on Asteroid B 612 with the goal of experiencing new things.
Through his journey he managed to reach various planets, which allowed him to play different characters, thus discovering different ways of life, personalities, characteristics of the different inhabitants. Likewise, he manages to discover what love, friendship and responsibility mean as positive principles of life, but he also knows shame and vanity as the dark side of people.
On the other hand, we must emphasize in this brief review of the little prince, that this young man had great values as principles of life, including honesty, education, respect. He considers that death will not limit the reunion of the people one loves. Rather he will be able to find them through the stars.
The beggining
The Little Prince begins with the story of a pilot who loved to draw from a young age. Among his drawings, one stands out: a giant boa constrictor swallowing an elephant. When he showed this drawing to several adults, they only saw a hat. They didn't like his drawings and advised him to study instead. A story for children and adults that imparts great moral lessons. Tired of explaining his drawings, he dedicated himself to being a pilot. He managed to travel to many places, one day he had an accident and fell in the Sahara desert. When he found himself he dedicated himself to repairing the plane. Tired of his hard work, he lets himself sleep and is suddenly woken up by a boy with golden hair.
He asks her to draw a lamb in the sand. The hurried pilot draws the only thing he could think of and the boy tells him that he did not want an elephant inside a boa, but a lamb. The pilot made an effort to draw the animal, but none of them satisfied the child. Tired of drawing, he makes her a box and explains that the lambs were inside it. The child was happy and from there a beautiful friendship is born.
The boy explains that he saw Asteroid B 612. That was his planet that was at risk of being devoured by the baobabs. Therefore, he needed lambs that will feed on this specimen.
On the fourth day after his accident, the pilot recounts that he began to understand the boy's inner world and his melancholic life. On the fifth day, the boy told him about his fears that the lambs would eat a flower, for which he felt a special affection. Being away from it allowed him to understand how much he valued it. The pilot promised he would draw the boy armor to protect the flower. He also told the boy he would draw the lamb a muzzle that would prevent it from eating the flower.
The pilot tells us how the little prince visited various planets. On each one, he encountered characters who taught him a lesson. For example, on an asteroid, he encountered a king who wanted to reign. He possessed a sense of authority. He appointed him ambassador for his kingdom. On the next planet, he met a vain man. The little prince rejected this characteristic of this character.
He continues his march towards another asteroid where a drinker lived. There they exchanged some ideas, but they filled the young prince with great sadness. From there he leaves for the fourth planet, where a businessman lived. This businessman was too busy with his own business to attend to the concerns of a child.
The fifth planet where the little prince arrived was so, so small that there was no room for him and the lamplighter, so he continued his journey to a much larger planet than the previous one. This planet was inhabited by a geographer. Both talked about his experiences and activities. The geographer recommended that he travel to planet Earth.
On the seventh day that the little prince arrives on Earth, right in the desert of El Sahara, in Africa. There he manages to meet various characters who left him great teachings. For example, the snake told him that she was so powerful that he could take her anywhere.
After much wandering, he found a beautiful garden with a flower, and he remembered the beautiful flower he had left on his planet B 612. This earthling flower told him that it was one of a kind in the entire universe. He felt sad and lay down to mourn its loss.
Next, the fox appears. This character explains to him the importance of friendship, which is related to the Little Prince's words . Therefore, everything he did for that flower created unbreakable bonds between the young prince and the flower.
In that place he manages to meet the switchman, who was in charge of taking care of the train tracks and the seller of pills that allowed him to avoid thirst.

On the eighth day, the pilot, after paying attention to the little prince about his adventures, informs him that they have no water and that they must go look for it. The pilot takes the little prince in his arms and after so much walking they manage to find a well with water.
Near the well there was some rubble where the little prince was sitting and he met the poisonous snake, who advised him to return to his place of origin.
The little prince was about to walk, when his ankles got tangled up, and he fell. The pilot hurriedly took him in his arms and realized that the little prince's life was fading. He started to tell his little friend that the plane's engine was fixed, and the little prince told him he was going home too.
The pilot understands that he would never see his little friend again and that he only had to remember his smile.
