Comet 46P/Wirtanen 

The year 2018 brings with it the approach of an impressive event that could gain some notoriety. This will occur when comet 46P/Wirtanen makes its closest approach to the Sun, possibly making it visible to the naked eye at magnitude 3 in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
