What does apocalypse and the end of the world mean in the Bible?
It is derived from the Greek “apoccalupsis” which means “revelation”. It is considered the last book of the New Testament where what is in store for the world in the future is written as a prophecy.
The apocalypse is the revelation of Jesus Christ to Saint John, in which it reflects the manifestations of future events, it contains the genre used in times of persecution, it is completely full of various symbolisms, images, numbers, and they were clearly used to subdue the persecutors in ignorance.
On apocalypse or end of the world in the Bible numbers are used as symbols; in Revelation 13:18 it says:
«Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of man. And his number is six hundred and sixty-six ».
The number six means imperfection, since the number that denotes perfection is the number seven, so a number less is evil, as blindness represents an imperfection, which shows the lack of a vital sense, the maximum imperfection is six. tripled (666) which is the number of the Beast.
This is a book of the prophetic Bible, of messages from the near future, framed in which the good ones would be taken to live in the abode of the Lord, to live in a new paradise, and the bad ones will be punished with the wrath of God.

The signs of the end times
In the sacred scriptures, they relate some signs about the signs of the end, specifically in the apocalypse it reflects it, however, when Jesus talked with his disciples on this subject, he predicted it in detail and we find it in Matthew 24; 1-14 which says:

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be pestilences, and famines, and earthquakes in different places. And all of this will be the beginning of pains. Then they will hand you over to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake.
Many will stumble then, and will betray one another, and will hate one another; And many false prophets will arise, and will deceive many and because wickedness has multiplied, the love of many will grow cold; but he who perseveres to the end, he will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world, for a testimony to all nations; And then the end will come.
What does the end of the world apocalypse express in the Bible?

John 4-1

“I looked, and behold, a yellow horse, and he who sat on it was called Death, and Hades followed him; And authority was given to him over a fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword, with hunger, with slaughter, and with the beasts of the earth.”
God has a scroll where he holds the seven seals, unbreakable for anyone and only Jesus has the power to break them, and thanks to his sacrifice he has this power, although Jesus appears as a lamb before the life that I lead in sacrifice for the people, this gifted as a Lion from the tribe of Judah.
Revelation 8 1-13
After breaking the seven seals, the famous trumpets of the angels from heaven are approaching:
1″When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour»
2"And I saw the seven angels standing before God; and they were given seven trumpets”
3" Another angel then came and stood before the altar, with a golden censer; and he was given much incense to add to the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar that was before the throne »
4"And from the hand of the angel rose to the presence of God the smoke of the incense with the prayers of the saints»
5"And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and cast it to the earth; and there were thunders, and voices, and lightning, and an earthquake"
6"And the seven angels who had the seven trumpets set out to blow it."
7"The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there was hail and fire mingled with blood, which were thrown down on the earth; and a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up."
8"The second angel sounded his trumpet, and like a great mountain burning with fire he was cast down into the sea; and the third part of the sea turned to blood"
9"And a third of the living creatures that were in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed."
10"The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water."
