Mary of the Rosary of Saint Nicholas

María del Rosario de San Nicolás is the main representation of the Virgin Mary in the city of San Nicolás de los Arroyos, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which since its origins has always had a large Catholic population, resulting in a deep devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, in this case honored or represented by the invocation of Our Lady of the Rosary, she being the first patron saint of the Los Arroyos parish. Although later, in 1983, the story of María del Rosario de San Nicolás began.

History

In the 1884th century, specifically in XNUMX, the parish church of San Nicolás de Bari was inaugurated, at the time of its inauguration a glorious image of the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary was donated, which would be taken to Argentina from the city of Rome, Italy. where the pope of the moment, Leo XIII, would have blessed it with a blessing, pardon the redundancy, especially for the parishioners of San Nicolás de los Arroyos. In these times, the Brotherhood of the Rosary would be created in the parish, and this feast of the Virgin would be celebrated annually with its respective preparatory novena.

Already in the 25th century, on September 1983, XNUMX, in San Nicolás de los Arroyos an event of amazing characteristics began to become famous and even, for some, incredible; a native woman of this city, a simple woman, whose name would be Gladys Quiroga de Motta, wife and mother of two daughters, who could only have attended the fourth grade, and without theological or biblical knowledge, admits to hearing and seeing to the Blessed Virgin.

Later, this lady would realize that the Virgin has been manifesting before her in the form of the Virgin of the Rosary, whose image is relegated to the bell tower due to its deterioration. The Virgin, according to Mrs. Quiroga, had asked her to build a temple in her honor, right in the place of her apparitions, to worship and praise her. Then the virgin would communicate a series of messages, most exhortatory, along with biblical quotes, calling for consecration, prayer, and conversion.

Messages Regarding Jesus

Over the years, since the first apparition of the Blessed Virgin before Mrs. Gladys Quiroga, in 1983, she told her many stories about her son Jesus, about her childhood and adolescence and her experience as a mother and the unprecedented connection that he had with his father.

February 2, 1987 – Event of the Presentation of the Lord:

My children, live with me this day, feel in your hearts, the joy of feeling very attached to Jesus, you also feel the love of Jesus. Go as he does, in the arms of his mother when he was transferred to the temple. Let yourselves be found by me, let yourselves be led by me, let yourselves be purified by me. Praised be the Holy.

February 3, 1985:

Daughter, I want you to understand today why my image appears with the baby Jesus and the rosary. The child is purity and a new life, the Child Jesus is the rebirth to life, the saving source of every soul that is thirsty. I offer you the rosary as a consolation, so that when you pray the Holy Rosary, you show all your pains, needs and pleas. As your Mother, I listen to my beloved children, great is my love for all of you.

Today the Virgin tells me what Jesus was like from his infancy. I'll tell you: In his early years, at three years old, he already possessed great intelligence; he had the understanding that God the Father had given him. He grew up knowing that he was the Son of God. He was always very quiet, always meditating, but when he spoke, he did so with great humility and great wisdom, the great wisdom granted by God. Daughter, such was my beloved son on earth. He was the most faithful preacher and the most faithful shepherd of his father's flock.

August 6, 1985:

Daughter, you have to know more about Jesus and this Mother who suffered for him, it is something from his childhood. Daughter, my breasts nursed him for years, my arms always cradled him, my lips pronounced words, which in his message harbored much love for God, His father, Joseph, had a deep love for him, he would tell you that he loved him as if he were his true son. We both loved and respected our dear baby Jesus, but my fear grew as time went on..

He comforted me by saying: "Mother, I am going the way my father told me, I will go through what He sends me and His will will be done." Daughter, Jesus gave himself up for the world, to save it. Now he calls the world to reflect, so that it does not condemn itself and in God finds the life that God promises. Amen.

September 11, 1986:

Daughter, today I will tell you something about Jesus again, something from when he was 12 years old, the age at which he was presented in the temple. He possessed the innocence of a child, and his great love for all that the Almighty has created was already evident in him. His great wisdom could be perceived in his wise and sensible words.

With José, my husband, we used to stay for hours listening to the wonderful things that he told us with great love, one of those many phrases he said to us was, "new life for the new soul, a lot of blood will flow for this to come true". My son always knew what he expected. May the Christian know how to reflect on what I have told you, these are the words of the mother of Jesus Christ. Amen.

February 12, 1987:

Everything about Jesus is beautiful; little by little, I will reveal it to you. How many wonders his spiritual world holds; for that is how he lived, in prayer, in completely direct communication with his father, even though he was God himself, he sacrificed himself for his father. Jesus fasted for long periods of time and spent long periods of time in prayer, in successive meditations; other moments he dedicated with great love to his neighbor.

Jesus always loved souls, which is why he left me in their care. Praised and blessed be my beloved son.

Mary of the Rosary of Saint Nicholas

May 12, 1987:

Gladys, today I'll talk to you again about my son, Jesus. While on earth, he lived only in heavenly things; nothing material made him attached to earthly things. He knew, yes, that he had to live his time among men, and it was in his later years that he dedicated himself entirely to being a shepherd, to gathering the flock of God, his Father.

It is necessary that those who have not yet understood the importance of the flock of the Lord, understand the great value of the union of that flock, each time it should be more numerous and stronger; thus, nothing can weaken it. I speak to my children, the Lord wants to recover his flock. Amen.

August 5, 1988:

My beloved daughter, with each passing hour my presence becomes more necessary for men. This mother was very concerned for her children. Such was my concern when Jesus was a child. He cared for me, cared for me to the extreme; I never left him alone, and he never left me alone; he was loved by Joseph and me. When he was grown, he would spend a lot of time without returning; his roof was the stars, and his pillow was his knees. Nothing concerned him except passing on his father's promise.

He himself traveled paths, trying to touch hearts, to transform souls. She today she is the mother who descends from heaven, to convert souls; today it is the heart of the mother, the one she loved and wants to be loved, together with the heart of her son. Blessed be the Savior.

Mary of the Rosary of Saint Nicholas

January 7, 1990:

Gladys, your soul lives on me, you feed on what I give you. I'll tell you something, when Jesus was born, days later the kings came to adore him. Then came the flight from Egypt, many of us suffered, since we were very precarious of food and shelter. My son was only 14 months old, and the main mission of José and I was to take care of him, since we knew that they were attacking him.

Peace never ceased to reign in our hearts, but tranquility only returned when we returned to Nazareth. Nothing burdened us, nor did it ever burden us; God was with us. Blessed and praised be He.

It gives us joy from the cross that the Lord entrusted you with the mission of drawing closer to him and his church through penance and conversion. Motivated by the confidence that you have always inspired in us, we place in your hands, in your maternal hands, our deepest fears and concerns. But, we also long to imitate your faithfulness to God, humbly and lovingly accepting all trials.
